Duties of the Service Advisor role include:
6. Welcoming customers and identifying their vehicle service needs
7. Providing timely updates throughout the service process
8. Advising customers on additional work needed and selling relevant services
9. Working closely with workshop teams to ensure smooth operations
10. Preparing and presenting cost estimates for repairs and maintenance
11. Finalising invoices and processing payments
12. Supporting team members to maintain excellent standards of customer care
Requirements for the Service Advisor role:
13. Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a main dealership environment
14. Knowledge of Kerridge or similar management systems
15. Excellent IT skills and ability to work independently
16. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle repairs
17. Exceptional customer service and communication skills
18. Full UK driving licence is essential
19. Confidence in estimating and evaluating vehicle repairs
