We aim to think inside and outside the box, striving to be the carrier of choice for every consumer in the UK. We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Day Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Plymouth depot.
Day shifts typically start between 05:00-09:00.
What Youll Do
* Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that’s where our couriers pick them up).
* You will typically have a run with 4 - 5 drops, ensuring safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated.
What We Can Offer You
* £14.60 per hour (£14.19 plus £0.41 seasonal allowance) with an overtime rate of £21.29 once full-time hours are completed.
* Full-time colleagues enjoy a minimum of 32 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), 3% pension contribution & life assurance, and a range of flexible benefits (vouchers, insurance, healthcare, etc.).
* Full-time is 40 hours per week, with flexible contracts and part-time hours available. Full-time is any 5 shifts out of 7; rotas are given in advance.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, Driver’s CPC and digital tachograph.
* Newly-qualified drivers are welcome; all drivers will undertake a short driving assessment.
* Excellent communication skills
