We’re hiring multiple Procurement Leads to support the transformation of a major energy project in Iraq. These roles span across: Projects, Operations & Production, Wells & Subsurface, categories. Each position offers a unique opportunity to shape procurement strategy, drive value, and collaborate with national partners in a high-stakes, multi-disciplinary environment.
Depending on your category expertise, you’ll be responsible for:
* Leading in-country procurement delivery across engineering, construction, maintenance, drilling, logistics, IT, HSE, and more.
* Developing and executing category strategies that align with project goals and local regulations.
* Partnering with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, HSE, and technical teams to ensure seamless procurement and contract management.
* Managing supplier relationships, performance, and compliance in a dynamic and evolving market.
* Supporting the integration of local content and fostering strong partnerships with Iraqi suppliers and contractors.
We’re looking for individuals with:
* A degree in Procurement, Engineering, or a related discipline (CIPS or equivalent preferred).
* Proven experience in one or more procurement categories, ideally within oil and gas or large-scale infrastructure.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work across cultures, disciplines, and geographies.
* Familiarity with middle east procurement laws and contracting standards.
* A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering value in complex environments.
