A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Walsall is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join their team through our supply agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils during this important stage in Key Stage 2.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. The school prides itself on its supportive leadership team, collaborative staff culture, and strong focus on pupil wellbeing and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning for all pupils.
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
Provide constructive feedback to pupils to support their development and attainment.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
