To collate and manage documentation in preparation for charging our residential properties to a range of funders/security trustees. With the support of the Corporate Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the security charging process and ensure efficiency of security across the loan debt portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with internal teams and external partners to bring properties into charge, resolving any documentation issues.
* Address and rectify any property or scheme issues that may impede efficient charging or optimisation of property value.
* Collaborate with the Development team to review new scheme documentation concerning security charging and valuation implications.
* Compile and efficiently file necessary documentation to expedite the charging of completed development schemes.
* Manage the Group's loan security position, ensuring all loan facilities are adequately secured.
* Identify and maintain a pipeline of property security tranches to meet forecasted needs.
About You
You should have a strong understanding of security charging principles and possess excellent time management and organisational skills. You will be an effective communicator, able to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Ideally you have a background in at least two of the following sectors: housing associations, solicitors, residential development. Treasury knowledge and a legal qualification/experience are key requirements of this role; some financial and system skills would be advantageous, although not essential as we can train you. A background in Development or Treasury environments and a formal legal qualification would also be advantageous.
