Your new role
As a Human Resources & Corporate Services Officer (Band 5), you'll be part of a small, high-performing team delivering a wide range of HR and corporate services. Your responsibilities will span across:
* Providing professional HR advice on employee relations, recruitment, absence management, and equality matters.
* Supporting and coordinating people and culture initiatives, including Investors in People.
* Managing HR systems and data, including reporting and analysis.
* Coordinating training and development activities.
* Supporting corporate services functions such as internal communications, staff engagement, and compliance reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
* A university degree or recognised professional qualification plus at least one year's experience in a Human Resources department;
OR
At least three years' relevant HR experience, including one year at Band 3 level or equivalent.
* Experience advising managers on a range of HR issues.
* Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience producing statistical reports.
* A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be made where applicable).
* Desirable:
* Experience using HR/payroll systems.
* CIPD qualification or membership.
