The Best Connection Oldham are currently recruiting a Machine Operative for our client in the Ashton-Under-Lyne area, transferring to Bredbury Stockport in the future.
A strong background in Machine Operation is essential to apply and we can only consider applications that indicate you've this experience.
Temp to perm role on offer - but can be via Best Connection for 12 months before transferring.
Lots of further training on offer, so you must have a thirst to develop your skill set.

Hours
* Monday-Thursday 0730-1715
Pay rate
* £13.41 increasing to £14.29 after 12 weeks, higher rates are paid on overtime
Responsibilities of the machine Operative
* Operating a 6 axis wickman machine - training given
* Basic Mechanical work
* Machine operating
* Measuring components
* Quality Control
* Elements of manual handling so physical fitness required
Requirements of the Machine Operative
* Attention to detail.
* Ideally mechanically minded
* Strong machine background essential
* Recent check able work history
* Repetitive duties during training period
* Must be able to travel to Bredbury in the future for work.
Benefits & Requirements:
* Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
* 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
* Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
