Part Time / 20 Hours Per Week / Term Time / Permanent
Join us to play a key role in ensuring the well-being of children and vulnerable adults.
Starting the day at the depot, you'll join the driver to collect passengers and assist them onto the vehicle, securing them with a seat belt. If a passenger is in a wheelchair, you'll secure this with clamps. Upon arrival at each destination, you'll hand over vulnerable passengers to a responsible adult.
You will support both vulnerable young people and adults during their journeys between home, schools, and day centres, ensuring their personal well-being in a safe and appropriate manner. Building a genuine relationship with the passengers, you'll be a key link between schools and parents, providing crucial support and finding reward in caring for individuals.
An effective communicator, you'll work well with members of the public across all ages. With a caring attitude, you'll be sensitive to the needs of vulnerable people.
Appointment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
