Purpose of the role
To provide administration support as required to the senior regional contracting team.
Key accountabilities
* Responsible for the purchasing of all sundry items - e.g. stationery, consumables etc.
* Responsible for the management of telephone calls if members of staff are not in the office to take them.
* Responsible for the administration and outgoing and incoming post.
* Provide administrative support to the commercial, operational and quantity surveying teams.
* Maintaining records, e.g. insurance, health and safety, sub-contractor lists.
* Other general administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the regional office.
* Support the Regional cost clerks where appropriate.
* Ensure all weekly/monthly reports and programmes are submitted on prescribed dates and in a clear manner. This includes minutes of meetings.
* Maintenance of contract files and assisting estimators in general duties
