About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our care homes, including Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care. Every team member understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories, and by joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents and assist the Home Manager in organising fundraising events. Whether boosting Residents' confidence to socialise, developing new activities based on their hobbies, or involving the care team, you'll approach your work with kindness above all else.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should manage your time effectively and communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Therefore, you must recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to report concerns. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training, with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
