E-Commerce Sales Underwriter

Overview of the Role: As an E-Commerce Sales Underwriter at Allianz Trade, you will play a crucial role in driving new business sales by offering our innovative E-Commerce solutions to merchants, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) platforms, and embedded finance partners. Your primary objective will be to achieve sales targets through the entire sales process, from qualification to closing. You will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and fostering long-term growth by leveraging your expertise in E-Commerce, payment solutions, and market trends.

Main Responsibilities:

* Sales Achievement: Meet and exceed New Business sales targets by effectively selling Allianz Trade E-Commerce solutions.
* Market Exploration: Develop a keen interest in E-Commerce, BNPL, and payment solutions, and work under guidance to identify and explore new opportunities with potential and existing customers.
* Product Promotion: Promote Allianz Trade E-Commerce services to clients by explaining the technical capabilities of our products and conducting demos during pitches.
* Customer Identification: Identify potential customers, including proactive acquisition and cold calling, to expand our client base.
* Offer Preparation: Prepare offers and policies, and explain them clearly to clients to facilitate informed decision-making.
* Collaborative Work: Work collaboratively with Allianz Trade TCI sales teams and brokers, contributing as a valuable team member.
* Lead Management: Keep records of lead management activity in line with activity KPIs, ensuring compliance with Group requirements.

* Market Knowledge: Possess in-depth know-how in E-Commerce and the specific market dynamics of the region. Ability to translate market insights into new initiatives for Allianz Trade’s long-term growth.
* Business Focus: Demonstrate a strong interest in and knowledge of E-Commerce, major market trends in payments, BNPL, credit cards, fintechs, finance, and banking.
* Business Expertise: Exhibit passion for sales, API/Tech, and TCI knowledge, driving successful sales outcomes.
* Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build an extensive network with close contacts to internal stakeholders within the Group/Region, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
