Tiny Toes Nursery Club is a cosy, independent nursery that's been at the heart of Hertford since 2003. Following a recent expansion, we're growing— and we're looking for a Deputy Head of Room - Nursery Practitioner to join our family.

The Role
* Be a Key Person: build strong relationships with children and families.
* Join the leadership team at Tiny Toes Hertford
* Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
* Promote excellent safeguarding and welfare at all times.
* Observe, assess, and record learning (online systems) to support next steps.
* Work collaboratively to maintain a calm, enabling environment.
* Contribute ideas—we love initiative and creativity
About You
* Sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
* Warm, positive communicator who thrives in a small, supportive team.
* Organised, reflective, and excited by continuous improvement/CPD.
* Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to complete).
* Right to work in the UK; enhanced DBS required (we can support if needed).
Hours & Pay
* Full-time (typically Monday–Friday, between 8am–6pm on a rota), open to Flexible hours as well.
* Salary: competitive, dependent on experience + signing-on bonus (£)
* Role based at Tiny Toes Nursery Club, Hertford
