We're seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and innovative technical solutions across complex enterprise environments. You'll collaborate with engineers, architects, and senior stakeholders to ensure solutions meet both business and technical objectives within some of the UK's most critical programmes. Key Responsibilities Design and architect innovative solutions that balance business needs with technical constraints. Own the overall solution design, ensuring consistency, scalability, and security across systems. Work closely with technical leads, engineers, and BAs to align architectures across multiple applications. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Champion best practices in solution design, quality assurance, and delivery. Provide technical guidance and oversight across development teams. Contribute to hands-on solution definition using modern technologies such as Java, C#, or JavaScript. Operate within agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) to ensure iterative, value-driven delivery. Apply experience with SharePoint or Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) to support secure integration and delivery. Leverage client knowledge to navigate integration points, operational challenges, and security constraints. Desirable Skills & Experience Cloud certifications or experience (AWS / Azure). Exposure to scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum@Scale). Proven experience in full-stack technical design and solution architecture. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Understanding of secure design and implementation principles. Ability to mentor engineers and promote architectural excellence across teams.
