We have an exciting opportunity for anEstimator / Pre-Construction Surveyorto join our Lovell Renew division based at our office in Doncaster. This isa great timeto join a growing business.
On aday to daybasis, you willbe responsible forthe preparation and submission of comprehensive bidsdemonstratingthe highest standards of detail and quality.
Working closely with both internal operational teams, commercialteamsand external supply chain partners, you willensure that commercial opportunities areoptimisedand the companys position is always suitably protected.You will set the commercial strategy alongside our Commercial team, review theopportunityand highlight the risks, along with producingaccurateandtimelyreports. In addition,you willidentify,escalateand proactively manage all tender commercial issues, protecting the companys obligations.
We are looking for an Estimatorwith a strong understanding of the refurbishment market and ideally the social housing sector.Youllneed to havehigh attention to detail,an innovative and proactive approach to problem solvingand be abletoplan effectively to ensure deadlines aremet.
We are looking for an exemplar individual who fits The Lovell Way;youwill be passionate about the refurbishment market andbeconfident building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.Witha flexible and agile approachto work, you willbe solutions focused and work in a straightforward way to ensure the commercial team meets its targets.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint,Wordand Excelisrequiredandpreviousexperience of Estimating software, including ASTA, Evaluate and COINS would beadvantageous, however are not essential.
You must hold a current driving licence which is essential for the role.
