Advance your Career as a Psychological Therapist in Aberdeen City.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Psychology Practitioner/CBT Therapist to work in Primary Care Adult Mental Health in Aberdeen City.
This post is primarily aimed at providing a service for adults with common mild to moderate mental health problems (Tier 2) presenting in Primary Care. Work will primarily be conducted within GP surgeries or other Primary Care health facilities or online working from home using Attend Anywhere VDO platform.
The role will involve assessing and providing psychological therapy for patients with a range of mild to moderate mental health problems including depression and a range of anxiety disorders. These interventions will be in line with best practice as identified by The Matrix. There will also be an expectation that the post holder will develop strong links with Social Care and Third Sector partners.
The post holder will have high level skills in psychological therapy, having obtained, for example, an MSc in Psychological Therapy in Primary Care or a PG Diploma in CBT (or equivalent, see Person Specification for more details). Post qualification experience would be desirable but is not essential, providing their training has included substantial clinical placement practice.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to the successful candidate.
