Tasks
Leading designproject meetings
Overseeing external designteams
Liaising with other teams and departments
Working with clients to ensure that their requirements arefulfilled and expectations met
Making sure that designinformation is available to those who need it when they needit
Maintaining thorough documentation of allprocesses
Keeping up to date with changing legislationand codes of practice to ensure compliance
Requires athorough understand of technical regulatory and commercial issuesas well as pure design considerations
Input to design attender through to project completion
Maintaining designprogrammes
Drive forward value engineering and innovationinto the project designs
Any other reasonable requests asrequired byManagement
Requirements
* CivilEngineering degree or equivalent
* HNC/HND/degreein Construction Management or Architecture
* BScin Design and Construction Management
* Abilityto work well under pressure and manage a heavyworkload
* Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
* Good selfmotivation andthe ability to motivate others
* Excellent peopleskills
* The ability to present ideas effectivelyand evaluate the ideas of others whilst inmeetings
* Experience in Temporary workdesigns
* Experience in external public realmdesign (Hard/Soft landscaping)
* Be honest andreliable
