Graduate Structural Engineer

Responsibilities
* Work on a diverse and interesting range of projects throughout the southwest and across different sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, education and health.
* Work with exceptional colleagues on the structural design of challenging projects that will improve your knowledge and understanding of structural engineering.
* Liaise and co‑ordinate with our infrastructure, highways and drainage engineers and be involved in every aspect of scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs and project management.
* Produce drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.
* Prepare structural design calculations on a project basis using the current Eurocodes, BS Standards and Approved Codes of Practice.
* Assist with coordinating the structural and civil engineering aspects of the design process.
* Liaise with other engineering disciplines within the practice.
* Accompany senior engineers to site visits and meetings.
Qualifications
* Relevant BEng/MEng in Engineering.
* 12 months experience working in an engineering environment.
* Enthusiastic, self‑motivated team player with good verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong work ethic.
* Ability to work under own initiative.
* A working knowledge of Civils 3D and AutoCAD.
