Business Systems Manager – ERP (Interim)
Program: Reduce 3 separate Kerridge ERP instances across the group to a single consolidated system by H2 2026. The interim period requires full harmonisation of the three instances to ease the eventual consolidation.
Location: Remote with required travel to Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire offices for stakeholder & project team meetings and less frequent travel to London for the Technology & Transformation Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse each ERP instance quickly to understand current operational processes.
* Determine which processes should remain, which should be eliminated, and prepare work packages for continuous improvement.
* Configure solutions across systems to align with the chosen processes.
* Define and deliver work packages, acting as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
* Integrate and enhance reporting using Power BI.
* Manage resources (in‑house and/or external) to meet project deliverables.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Extensive experience as a Business Systems Manager with ERP systems, specifically with consolidation of multiple instances.
* Knowledge of Kerridge ERP desirable but not essential.
* Strong stakeholder management across Finance functions (A/P, A/R, Inventory, Commercial).
* Ability to capture, improve, and document operational processes.
* Experience delivering integrated reporting for ERP systems; Power BI experience is advantageous.
* Background in distributed goods businesses (Retail, Building Merchants, FMCG, Logistics).
Location requirement: Must be South‑East based due to travel commitments.
Contract: Outside IR35, starting 12th January for 6 months. Interview availability: Monday 22nd AM/PM or week of 5th January.
