We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Manager to join us ahead of opening and help establish a culture defined by excellence, accountability and professional pride.
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to shape a home from its very beginning. Working in close partnership with the Home Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in setting standards, building a high-performing team and embedding a culture that reflects both clinical excellence and premium hospitality.
Within our purpose-built flagship home designed to set new standards for excellence in care, governance and resident experience, your leadership will be visible, influential and impactful.
Your key responsibilities will include:
7. Providing strong clinical oversight at home level, ensuring safe, person-centred care is consistently delivered
8. Leading governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
9. Supporting regulatory compliance and maintaining excellent Care Inspectorate standards
10. Acting up in the Home Manager’s absence and participating in the on-call rota
11. Contributing to workforce planning, succession development and performance management
12. Monitoring operational performance and supporting delivery of the home’s objectives
13. Building strong, professional relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders

About You
You will be a registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RLDN) with active NMC registration and proven experience within a care home setting.
