Responsibilities
* Analyse samples in accordance with appropriate analytical test procedures and within customer requirements and where appropriate record results
* Accurately enter laboratory test data into relevant IT system
* Unpack samples and record the items onto database
* Report any quality or health and safety issues to the Laboratory Supervisor
* At all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and clients, in line with the company's policies and procedures
We are looking for individuals who are keen to pursue a career in laboratories; no previous laboratory experience is required – this is an excellent entry‑level position.
Skills & Knowledge
* Able to consistently follow written and verbal instructions.
* Able to organise and prioritise workload.
* Able to work under own initiative and with a high degree of autonomy & maturity.
* Computer literate, showing an ability to use IT systems.
* Previous experience of working in a fast‑paced work environment, meeting exacting process and client demands.
