Trainee Teacher of Physical Education (PE)

Salary: Training Salary / Bursary (depending on route)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Teacher of Physical Education to join a dynamic secondary school in Northampton.

The Role
As a Trainee PE Teacher, you will:
Work alongside experienced PE teachers to support the delivery of high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities
Assist in promoting healthy lifestyles and student participation in physical activity
Receive structured training, mentoring, and regular feedback to support your development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related subject (or be on track to achieve one)
A genuine passion for sport and working with young people
The ambition to train as a qualified teacher
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
A willingness to contribute to the wider school community
