What you'll be doing
* Manage costs and ensure that they are controlled as efficiently as possible whilst also delivering the highest levels of accuracy and customer/patients’ service
* Effectively plan and execute labour requirements in conjunction with forecasted volumes, utilising agency staff when required
* Drive continuous improvement within the facility
* Provide training, development and performance reviews of your team and support them with appropriate feedback when required
* Engage your team of people by delivering daily team briefings and debriefings to ensure the performance and welfare of the team is as high as possible
* Monitor and report KPIs, SLAs and performance metrics
* Report all near misses, accidents, and incidents in compliance of HSE and company policies
* Adhere to all legal, ethical, professional and company requirements
* Work within a high‑volume environment
* Work with key teams across the business (customer service, purchasing, clinical & pharmacists)
Who are we looking for
* Experienced in managing large teams (50‑60+) in distribution, e‑commerce, or high‑volume operations
* Hands‑on, visible, and actively involved on the shop floor
* Strong focus on health, safety and compliance (HSE)
* Process‑driven with experience in automation and continuous improvement
* Results‑oriented with the ability to meet KPIs and operational targets
* Self‑starter with excellent prioritisation and problem‑solving skills
* Committed to developing, coaching and engaging supervisors and team members
* Flexible and adaptable, able to cover weekend or alternative shifts when required
