What you'll do:

As a Transfer Operations Analyst at Vanguard in Manchester, you will play an integral role in supporting the UK Personal Investor business by managing client transfer cases from start to finish. Your day-to-day activities will involve building connections across teams, acting as an intermediary between key partners such as FNZ and Vanguard, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements. You will be entrusted with handling complex cases with sensitivity while contributing ideas that enhance efficiency. By participating in special projects and representing your team at meetings, you will help shape processes that deliver outstanding service quality. Success in this role comes from your ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively with others, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrate genuine care for clients' needs.

* Proactively manage specific client transfer cases including complaints, high value transactions, ageing accounts, and complex scenarios by collaborating closely with internal and external partners to resolve issues efficiently.
* Build strong relationships with internal colleagues across departments and act as a liaison between FNZ and Vanguard to ensure client requirements are met with care and precision.
* Identify trends in transfer operations and provide thoughtful suggestions for workflow enhancements that drive operational efficiencies and improve the overall client experience.
* Participate actively in initiatives aimed at exceeding service quality goals by ensuring all client inquiries are resolved promptly and communicated within defined service levels.
* Contribute to special projects as assigned, bringing your attention to detail and collaborative spirit to new challenges within the team.
* Manage workflow effectively by providing timely responses to queries, escalating relevant items when necessary, and maintaining clear communication channels throughout the process.
* Assist in the creation and revision of procedures related to transfer processes undertaken by the team, ensuring documentation remains accurate and up-to-date.
* Support FNZ with processing transfers when required, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to help wherever needed.
* Represent the Transfer Operations team by attending scheduled and ad-hoc internal or external meetings, sharing insights and updates as appropriate.
