Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services/Lighting Design) – Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime + Pension
Role
* Leading the design and delivery of a variety of Electrical systems for building services projects
* Customer and client liaison, creating detailed technical drawings/plans
* Co-ordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of electrical designs for building services projects
* Prepare technical specifications, schematics and design reports
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
* Ensure projects meet company and customer standards and health and safety requirements
* Support business development, including preparation of fee proposals and tender submissions
* Maintain accurate technical documentation for projects
Qualifications
* Background in Building Services/MEP/Lighting Design/Low Voltage Power or a related field
* Experience using AutoCAD; REVIT experience is advantageous
* Strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills
* Experience in sustainability sector or similar is preferred
Requirements
The candidate should have relevant industry experience and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality electrical design work.
