MCS Group is working with one of their closest clients in their search for a talented UX/UI Designer. You'll play a key role in designing intuitive, engaging web applications and websites - from discovery through to design. You'll work closely with clients, helping shape their ideas into user-friendly digital products with a specific focus on using Figma.
This is a hybrid role in Belfast city centre.
The Role
* The UX/UI Designer will lead and contribute to the design of web apps and websites from concept through to handoff.
* You'll collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders (from multiple industries) to understand user needs and business goals.
* You'll create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
* You'll conduct design reviews, iterate based on feedback, and maintain consistent visual design standards
* You'll work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of your designs
* Help evolve and maintain design systems and component libraries
What We're Looking For:
* You'll have lots of commercial experience in UX and User Interface design
* You'll have a strong portfolio of web apps and responsive website designs (this will be important for the interview process!)
* You'll be proficient in Figma (including components, auto-layout, and prototyping)
* You'll have strong communication skills and be comfortable working directly with clients and presenting design rationale
* A strong understanding of user-centered design principles
Nice to Have:
* Experience with basic user research or usability testing
* Familiarity with tools like Webflow, Framer, or basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
Salary - up to £40,000 plus benefits
