Role Overview
This is a pivotal role in shaping a new facility from the ground up. You will oversee the implementation of the new paint production line, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Leadership: Manage the full implementation and operation of the paint production line.
* Process Optimisation: Design workflows, optimise layout, and establish best practices.
* Team Development: Recruit, train, and manage the paint production team.
* Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).
* Continuous Improvement: Enhance productivity, safety, and quality using lean methodologies.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality, HSE, and commercial teams.
* Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
Requirements
* Proven experience managing or implementing a paint production line (aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors preferred).
* Strong knowledge of paint application processes, equipment, and regulations.
* Project management and leadership experience.
* Familiarity with quality and health & safety standards.
* Engineering or technical background preferred.
