Our ambition is to see children as children within youth justice services, treat them fairly and help them to build on their strengths so they can rehabilitate and make positive contributions to society. This will prevent offending and create safer communities with fewer victims in Enfield.

You will be joining a well-resourced service supported by mature and caring management team that has a clear understanding of strengths and areas of development within our practice.
We are looking to recruit a suitable candidate who is resourceful, organised, creative and excellent at forming positive relationships of trust with young people, families and members of the community. The post holder will be expected to use a trauma informed approach within their engagement of young people and offer support, guidance and advocacy, as well as having the confidence and knowledge to be able to challenge views and behaviours that could lead to further offending. The role will also require the applicant to maintain detailed, accurate and contemporaneous records of all activities and case progress in both hard copy and electronic format and in accordance with target objectives and national standards. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out assessments, delivering interventions and brokering additional support to young people that enable them to achieve good outcomes whilst preventing them from re-offending.
