Assistant SENCO | Fantastic Primary School | Tower Hamlets
A “Good” Primary School located in Tower Hamlets is seeking an Assistant SENCO to begin September 2026. The role is full‑time and directly employed by the school.
Responsibilities
* Teach in an ARP with six children (non‑verbal/ASD).
* Lead and work with an experienced HLTA.
* Support EHCP applications, writing and carrying out assessments.
* Initially work within the Primary School and later extend support to the Nursery School.
Qualifications & Experience
* QTS and strong understanding of SEN.
* Experience planning and teaching engaging lessons for SEN pupils.
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and within a large team.
* Proficient in data and administrative tasks.
* Committed to supporting pupils with MPS1 – MPS6 + SEN Point.
Contract & Location
* Full‑time, school‑based contract.
* September 2026 start date.
* Located in Tower Hamlets.
