Role Overview The Account Co-ordinator plays a critical role in delivering a seamless end-to-end service within a rail environment, supporting a key MSP client. This is an admin-heavy, highly organised, client-facing role, responsible for managing day-to-day requirements, contractor administration, and ongoing client liaison. Based onsite at our Ashford offices five days a week, you'll act as the central point of coordination between the client, contractors, and internal teams. A major emphasis of the role is building strong client relationships, influencing forward planning of labour requirements, ensuring processes are followed efficiently, and resolving issues quickly in a heavily health & safety-focused environment. This role suits someone confident, proactive, and switched on - able to manage high volumes of work, use their initiative, and take ownership in a fast-paced operational setting. Key Responsibilities Include Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client and contractor queries Manage incoming labour requirements, ensuring requests are logged, processed, and actioned accurately Use client systems (PeopleSoft) and internal software to manage administration and workflow Support the full contractor lifecycle, including onboarding, compliance, inductions, assignment details, and health & safety requirements Manage contractor timesheets, pay queries, working hours, and contract extensions Build strong working relationships with the client and influence forward planning of requirements Ensure agreed processes are followed efficiently and consistently Resolve issues as they arise, escalating where necessary Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness Work closely with internal delivery teams to maintain service levels Skills & Experience Required Strong administrative experience (essential) - this is a hands-on, admin-heavy role Experience in recruitment, workforce management, MSP, rail, or blue-collar environments is desirable Rail industry knowledge or experience is advantageous but not essential Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and challenging constructively when needed Highly organised with strong attention to detail Self-motivated, proactive, and able to use initiative Comfortable working at pace in a high-volume, operational environment Strong awareness of compliance and health & safety expectations This is a great opportunity for someone proactive and detail-focused who thrives in a busy operational role.
