The Role
We're looking for a proactive Development & Technical Coordinator to support our busy product development and technical functions. This is a varied role that will suit someone organised, detail-focused, and eager to learn within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
You will work closely with our customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure products are developed, trialled, and launched successfully, while supporting our technical function with specifications, quality systems, and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development of new products from concept to launch.
* Prepare and maintain customer specifications and technical documentation.
* Organise and participate in kitchen samples, trials, and factory production runs.
* Support customer presentations and respond to technical queries.
* Maintain accurate records for BRCGS and customer audits.
* Assist with raw material approval and supplier documentation.
* Coordinate product shelf-life testing and sample dispatch.
About You
* Previous experience in food manufacturing, NPD, or technical administration is desirable (but not essential for the right candidate).
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn.
* A genuine interest in food and product development.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
