Are you a skilled AV / Event Technician ready to bring high-impact visuals to life? We're on the lookout for an experienced, tech-savvy professional to join our Manchester-based team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional visual production for live, virtual, and hybrid events.
What You'll Do
As a Vision AV / Event Technician, you'll be at the heart of creating seamless event experiences, from initial setup to final execution. Responsibilities include:
* Rigging and operating high-end vision systems for a range of corporate and live events
* Leading teams of freelance technicians and ensuring professional delivery
* Communicating clearly with clients, suppliers, venue staff, and crew
* Maintaining and prepping AV equipment in the warehouse
* Supporting the Head of Vision with ongoing development and innovation in the department
* Assisting other technical departments when needed
* Driving and delivering equipment using company vehicles
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with a passion for precision and performance, and ideally:
* 2+ years of experience as a Vision Engineer or AV Technician, particularly in corporate events
* Hands-on experience with Barco Event Master, presentation switchers, modular LED screens, and Panasonic projectors
* Skilled in video playback, live streaming, and video communication tools
* A calm, capable presence under pressure, with a solution-focused mindset
* Strong teamwork and leadership skills, with excellent attention to detail
* A customer-first attitude and professional presentation
* A full UK Driving License and access to personal transport
