Senior Development Planner
Location: Based in Newcastle Quayside and Alnwick Castle

Our client is a property management and development company based in the North-East of England and they have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join their in-house Planning Team.
The Role
The role includes involvement in a wide range of projects from rural small-scale agricultural to strategic urban extension sites, working across a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, renewables, minerals, heritage and conservation, landscape, tourism and leisure.
The role involves working on a wide range of planning applications dealing with statutory authorities and managing consultancy teams, preparing submissions to Local Planning Authorities, and providing planning input and advice across the Estate's land interests.
The work is based largely in the North-East where they have a range of interesting projects to deliver. They require a qualified Senior Planner, with a minimum of five years experience, excellent communication, presentational and IT skills, a good all round understanding of the planning system and a driving licence.
