Role: Workshop Support Engieer
Contract: Permanent, 45 hour week
Salary: £32,812 - £34,178
Location: Revived Equipment (Briggs Equipment)
As a Workshop Support Engineer you will be responsible for;
1. Assisting engineers in the effective maintenance by carrying out jet washing of machines
2. Occasionally supporting the transport department by carrying out driving duties
3. Liaising with Workshop Supervisor and engineers to determine priority of waste deposal as required i.e. waste oil, scrap metal, emptying of wheelie bins and disposal of contaminated waste
4. Working alongside Workshop Engineers assisting in general workshop repairs and maintenance
5. All meter readings taken and workshop office informed
6. Liaising with workshop admin team on the requirements for diesel required to be ordered ensuring that fuel is ordered in a timely manor
7. The winter months de-ice path ways and car parks to ensure clear and safe areas
8. Keeping clean workshop isles, including the use of ride cleaning machines
9. Part time driving delivering and collecting of parts
10. Ensuring spill kits and all Health and Safety equipment within the workshop is maintained at all times
