Wells Cathedral School seeks to appoint an experienced Payroll Manager to join a busy team and be responsible for our three payrolls (currently using WCBS Payroll Plus software). The post requires exceptional organisation and communication skills with a can-do attitude, together with a willingness to go above and beyond. The successful candidate will ensure that the payroll database holds accurate data, including pay rates, personal details, PAYE/NI and other statutory body details, and will line manage the day-to-day responsibilities and tasks of our Payroll Assistant.
A payroll-related qualification, such as CIPD, experience of working with a payroll database, and working knowledge of P11D administration and calculation are essential for this role.
