We have a great opportunity for a Head of Savings to join us at GB Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Bank offers a competitive range of high-quality savings products for its customers. GB Bank provides a wide, customer focused, range of products and you will play a key role utilising customer insight to develop and enhance our offerings.
In this varied and interesting role, you will contribute to the growth and continued profitability of the business by ensuring pricing is aligned to key business targets for GB Bank’s savings brands.
You will deliver product enhancements, pricing, product and sector reviews, performance, and competitor- analysis, forecasts and support on key projects to deliver the required volumes, margin and mix within risk appetite. You will be joining the team during an exciting period of change, giving you the opportunity to support wider project work to support the Bank’s growth and success.
As Head of Savings, you will find yourself:
* Providing day to day advice to senior management across the business for all savings lines, with a detailed knowledge of the savings market and the competitors
* Develop KPI’s and MI dashboards for all aspects of Savings, including customer onboarding, service level response times, incoming and outgoing payments.
* Aid in the development of the deposit strategy, aligning to balance sheet requirements.
* Relationship management support for all comparison sites and aggregator relationships
* Playing a key role in the launch of new product pricing, from design inception to delivery and sign off, ensuring other teams are aware of their roles as part of delivery.
* Ensuring all products deliver good customer outcomes and that we meet our requirements under Consumer Duty
* Producing and maintenance of analysis and commentary on competitor movements, market analysis, and product performance, flagging material trends, scenario analysis and changes to the wider Team
* Working as part of project groups, being the expert and leading from a product, pricing and savings market perspective
Skills and experience – you are/will have most of the following:
* Experience in a savings product or pricing role, including growing a savings portfolio with product and customer types cases
* A working knowledge of the UK Savings market and a strong understanding of Consumer Duty
* The ability to organise and problem solve new challenges, and be able to analyse and understand data points, trends and impacts, translating into tangible actions.

What else do I need to know?
Location: You will predominately work from home but will be required to travel to our offices when your role requires this.
Hours: 35 hours per week
