Finance and Data Administrator, School Libraries
Salary: £27,000 per year
Contract: Fixed‑term contract until August 2029
Hours: Full‑time, 35 hours per week
Location: Based in London SW8 / home and flexible working
What you’ll be doing
We are recruiting a Finance and Data Administrator who will support the delivery of the nationwide Libraries for Primaries programme. You will be part of our school libraries team, providing administrative support and working closely with our Project Managers to deliver our nationwide Libraries for Primaries programme. This will include working with our finance team and book fulfilment partner to support complex, large‑scale procurement, reconciling finance records, and maintaining our contacts database and sales records. You will also support school recruitment, deliver training, and develop and maintain administration systems and workflow processes, with support from the team.
You will be contracted to our office in London, but the role is suitable for home and flexible working. You should be available to travel to London for staff and team days, as well as to support project delivery and partnerships; this may be around a day a week on average. Travel costs are not covered.
What we’re looking for
* Experience of administration and team support, including the use of contact databases and content management systems.
* Proven track record in budget management and financial reconciliation.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience working in the education or library sector is an advantage.
