Driver Hire Reading are recruiting a 3.5T Delivery Driver on a 13 week Temp to Perm to work for a flooring specialist company based in Bracknell.
The role involves working Tuesday to Friday (No work Saturday, Sunday or Monday). Start times are 6.30am. Working hours are 44hours per week, with flexibility required to meet operational commitments. A high degree of flexibility is required to ensure availability at key operational times. This may include a reasonable amount of additional hours to meet business needs.
This role is not just about driving and delivering. Drivers spend much of their day loading up, fuelling, checking the van is clean and fit for the next route and calling customers to ensure they know what time their delivery will arrive. This is a multi-drop role working in local areas with a typical day consisting of 10-20 deliveries with potential heavy manual handling involved.
