The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and commercially astute Business Manager to the Operating Board to play a pivotal role at the heart of the organisation. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, supporting strategic decision-making, governance, and execution of key business priorities.
Acting as a trusted advisor and central coordinator, you will ensure alignment across business planning, performance management, and operational delivery-driving efficiency and impact at board level.
Key Responsibilities
Operating Board Support
Coordinate and manage the Operating Board calendar, including board meetings, steering committees and leadership eventsPrepare and collate high-quality board packs, reports and briefing materialsDevelop agendas and decision papers to support effective discussions and outcomesAttend board meetings, track actions and ensure delivery against commitmentsSupport board members with planning and prioritisation of key initiativesCoordination & Delivery
Translate board-level priorities into clear, actionable plansTrack progress against business objectives, KPIs and strategic initiativesIdentify risks, dependencies and delivery challenges, escalating where requiredDrive cross-functional alignment across departments and stakeholdersGovernance & Reporting
Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks and decision-making processesProduce executive dashboards, reports and performance insightsSupport annual planning cycles, budgeting and operational reviewsEnsure adherence to governance standards and internal policiesStakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholdersAct as a central coordination point between the Operating Board and wider businessFacilitate leadership meetings, workshops and communicationsHandle sensitive and confidential information with discretionOperational Improvement
Identify and implement improvements to board processes and reportingSupport or lead strategic and transformation initiativesDrive continuous improvement across executive operationsAbout You
Proven experience in a Business Manager, Chief of Staff, or similar strategic roleExceptional organisational and project management skillsStrong stakeholder management and communication abilitiesCommercially aware, with the ability to interpret data and business performanceProactive and adaptable, able to manage competing priorities at paceExperience supporting senior leadership or board-level stakeholdersWhat's on Offer
