Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office operations and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent computer proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism in all interactions.
Duties
* Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in administrative tasks.
* Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
* Assist with financial record-keeping using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
* Organise files and documents to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with company policies.
* Support team members with clerical tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Maintain inventory of office supplies and coordinate orders as necessary.
* Prepare reports and presentations as required for management review.
* Oversee daily business operations including supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory.
* Manage and optimise delivery operations using Blosh's van and courier partners, ensuring timely order fulfilment.
* Supervise and coordinate the work of the Transport & Delivery Coordinator and Warehouse Assistant (planned hire).
* Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and ensure accuracy across systems.
Qualifications
* Proven office experience with a strong background in administrative roles.
* Proficient computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools.
* Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Knowledge of compliance requirements (labelling, safety, H&S).
* Experience managing delivery fleets or courier relationships.
* Process improvement/lean operations background.
* Hold a UK Driver Licence (No points on Licence)
