Within this role, you will be supporting an extremely loving female pupil within the reception class that has a dual diagnosis of ASD and non-verbal. This pupil is fairly independent and doesn't require any personal care, but does struggle with integration due to their needs. They can also at times present challenging behaviours and become disengaged. This is not a personal attack but a means of communication. You will act as their main point of contact throughout the school day, giving accurate feedback to the class teacher, parents/guardians, and the SENCO.
