1st / 2nd line support for requests received to the IT Helpdesk. Day-to-day support and maintenance of client IT systems, applications and users. You will facilitate in the effective operation and daily support of the client network, systems and processes. This is an in-person role, requiring the person to be based in our office in Camlough with regular customer site visits.
Responsibilities
* To provide technical support for all hardware, software and associated peripherals/devices across a large portfolio of clients.
* Helpdesk Administration and Escalation, Backup, Endpoint Security, Remote Maintenance and Monitoring, Office365 and IT Asset Management Administration.
* Troubleshooting system, server and network problems and diagnose/solve hardware and software faults.
* Hardware upgrades and replacement projects.
* Configuration of VOIP hardware and programming of hosted telephone systems.
* Resolve 1st and 2nd line support tickets and liaise with 3rd Party vendors where necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
* Good level of IT literacy with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office.
* Good organisational skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records and update support tickets clearly.
* Excellent communications skills and be able to deal with clients via phone, email, and remote tools.
* Ability to self diagnose problems and find solutions.
* Self-motivated and a strong desire to learn new skills.
* Ability to work of own initiative.
* Driving Licence and access to/own car
* Previous experience within a similar IT Support environment.
* Experience of Office365 administration including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint.
* Foundation knowledge of Cybersecurity Fundamentals.
* Experience in a customer service environment, demonstrating strong communication and a professional approach to assisting users.
