A well-established Microsoft partner with nearly 30 years of ERP delivery experience is expanding its Dynamics 365 Business Central consulting team.
This is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative team delivering ERP transformation projects for manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution businesses across the South of England.
The business has evolved from legacy ERP platforms into a modern Microsoft-focused consultancy, with Business Central now at the heart of its strategy. With renewed investment in growth and marketing, the team is expanding to support increasing demand for Business Central projects.
You will work closely with experienced ERP specialists, including a Senior Solutions Architect with over 25 years in the ERP space, delivering complex projects and helping shape how the team continues to grow.
The Role
As a Solutions Consultant, you will work with clients to understand their processes and design solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
You will play a key role throughout the full ERP project lifecycle – from discovery and process mapping through to implementation, training, and go-live support.
This role suits someone who enjoys working closely with clients, solving real operational challenges, and delivering tangible improvements to how businesses run.
Projects often involve automation, integration, and operational transformation for organisations with complex stock, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with clients to understand business processes and gather requirements
* Design and configure solutions within Dynamics 365 Business Central
* Support the full ERP implementation lifecycle including configuration, testing, UAT, training and go-live
* Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and end users
* Maintain clear communication with clients throughout delivery
* Produce documentation to support implementation and post-go-live support
* Collaborate with Solution Architects, developers, support consultants and project managers
* Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and project delivery standards
* Continue building expertise across Business Central and the wider Microsoft ecosystem
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with strong ERP consulting experience, ideally within Microsoft Dynamics environments.
You may currently be working for a Microsoft partner, an ERP consultancy, or within an end-user organisation where you have been responsible for ERP implementation or transformation projects.
Key experience includes:
* Experience delivering ERP implementations or system transformations
* Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV / similar ERP platforms)
* Strong understanding of business processes such as finance, supply chain, warehousing or manufacturing
* Experience managing project delivery from requirements through to go-live
* Strong client-facing communication skills
* Ability to run workshops, training sessions and stakeholder discussions
* A structured approach to documentation and project delivery
Nice to have:
* Dynamics NAV experience
* Exposure to CRM systems such as Dynamics CRM
* Awareness of the wider Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, integrations, Teams)
Location & Working Style
* Primarily remote role
* Occasional visits to the Dorset office (typically a couple of times per month)
* Client sites across the South of England, London and M3/M4 corridor
Salary & Benefits
* £55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
