Within Economic Crime Risk, we manage second line risk activity across Anti Money Laundering, Anti Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions and Fraud. We are a team of economic crime risk subject matter experts, that deliver policy, risk assessment, training, reporting and provide the business with advice on how to operate in line with policy control requirements.
How you’ll make a difference
The Economic Crime Risk Manager is responsible for activities relating to governance e.g. MI & reporting, project oversight, policy drafting, and maintenance of training materials. The key stakeholders for the Economic Crime Risk Manager are first line business and wider risk community colleagues. You will make a difference in your role by working collaboratively to deliver continuous improvement to policy and support the first line in embedding controls.
What you’ll bring
* Experience in undertaking second line of defence risk management activities including risk assessment, policy drafting and leveraging management information to inform business oversight activities.
* A good working knowledge of regulatory expectations.
* Effective relationship management skills with a variety of stakeholders including senior leaders.
* Experience of reviewing guidance documentation from regulatory bodies and translating into actionable plans.
* Great written and oral communications along with excellent presentation skills.
* Ability to lead on delivery of projects and manage a varied workload and delivery to agreed timelines.

Selection process
There will likely be a 30-minute informal, exploratory chat with the Hiring Manager followed by a structured interview via Teams with the Hiring Manager plus another member of the team. Here are some of the questions you’ll be asked at interview:
