Our client is seeking an experienced senior lawyer to lead its global Employment, Incentives and Pensions team.
This is a temporary interim role for an estimated 9-12 months. You will take overall responsibility for UK, EU, and US matters.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strategic legal advice and commercial solutions on Employment, Incentives, and Pensions (EIP) matters.
* Working on compensation arrangements and remuneration policies and practices, with a sound understanding of different reward and compensation structures, including share options.
* Managing a team of two senior lawyers and helping to mentor and support other lawyers across the wider team.
* Overseeing executive employment arrangements, workforce policies and EIP frameworks
* Supporting international EIP projects and matters in the EU and US as the business continues to scale, coordinating with in-country General Counsels and their teams.
What we're looking for
* Extensive PQE (15+ PQE as a guide, but no pre-requisite) in employment law, ideally with incentives and pensions experience, but not an absolute requirement if this can be developed
* Strong grounding in executive employment matters and reward structures, including share options
* In-house financial services experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.

* Remote: Client is open to candidates working remotely, but some office attendance may be required or preferred.
* Duration: 9-12 months

Interview Process
