Job Title: Senior Engineering Manager
Location: Cambridge
An innovative and fast-growing fabless semiconductor company is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team that spans IC Design, RF Design, Embedded Software and Systems.
This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering organisation developing cutting-edge RF technology for the mobile and wearables industry, with a mission to redefine how RF front-ends are designed.
The Senior Engineering Manager role is ideal for an experienced and driven engineering leader who thrives in a high-growth, collaborative environment and is excited by the opportunity to shape engineering processes, culture, and technical excellence from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide line management to a diverse team across RFIC, system integration, module design, and embedded software.
* Set clear performance expectations and support professional development across the team.
* Define and implement engineering best practices, including design reviews, version control, and documentation standards.
* Promote scalable methodologies for ICs, RF modules, and embedded software.
* Establish robust processes for simulation, measurement, validation, and compliance.
* Drive effective day-to-day engineering execution and resource planning.
* Contribute to long-term strategic planning and roadmap development.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven track record in engineering leadership, ideally within a fabless semiconductor
* Hands-on experience managing multidisciplinary teams across IC design, software, and validation functions.
* Strong background in engineering lifecycle management
* Technical expertise in RFIC, analog/mixed-signal design, RF Systems or RF module development.
* Passionate about team development and building scalable engineering cultures.
