Job Description:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
* Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially.
* Experienced in acute nursing care
* Degree educated or equivalent
* Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
* Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
Duties of this role include:
* Strategically plan and deliver patient-safe clinical care in the Theatre service, aligned with business needs.
* Manage the day-to-day organization of care within the Operating Department, leading both clinical and non-clinical theatre staff.
* Provide clear direction, leadership, and support to the theatre team, fostering development, motivation, and performance to meet CQC Standards.
* Maintain a professional, cost-effective theatre service, including financial management and business planning.
* Achieve labor management targets and complete weekly staff utilization reports.
