Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, bringing subject expertise and enthusiasm to the classroom.
* Ensure our curriculum remains current, relevant, and aligned with the evolving needs of industry, employers, and future technology leaders.
* Contribute to curriculum development, student support and the continued strengthening of our computer science and cybersecurity portfolio.
* Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, external engagement, outreach, and activities that raise the School’s profile and impact.
* Play an important role in the wider academic life of the School of Computer and Engineering Sciences.
Qualifications
* Relevant higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Experience in teaching in higher education.
* Expertise in system penetration testing, secure software development, information security, and cryptography.
* Professional skills or certifications in ethical hacking preferred.
* Strong commitment to creating innovative and engaging learning experiences.
Additional Support
* Support to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education or Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA).
