An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Building Surveyor to join a construction consultancy based in Central London. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, with the potential for further career development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and delivering building surveying projects from inception through to completion
* Providing expert advice on building defects, dilapidations, and refurbishment projects
* Undertaking technical due diligence and building surveys
* Client relationship management, including advising on technical issues and project scope
* Leading and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and support
* Assisting with business development activities and fostering long-term client relationships
Key Requirements:
* MRICS qualified
* Proven experience in building surveying within the commercial, residential, or mixed-use sectors
* Strong technical knowledge and expertise in building pathology, dilapidations, and contract administration
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* A proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving and client service
