NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE IN BELFAST FOR A SUPPLY OFFICER
* Full time on-site in Belfast
* Contract until November 2026
* £29ph via Umbrella
* 35 hour week, with premium overtime rates for any overtime
* BPSS clearance required prior to starting
WHAT WILL THE SUPPLY OFFICER BE DOING?
The role of the Supply Chain Coordinator involves managing a portfolio of suppliers acting as the main on-site liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless material flow, performance management, and supplier recovery where needed. This role plays a vital part in improving operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement, and shaping the future of the supply chain through digitalisation and transformation initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
1. Managing a portfolio of suppliers daily using existing and emerging digital tools.
2. Anticipating risks, manage demand and forecasts, and drive proactive mitigation actions.
3. Leading and driving supplier recoveries, ensuring on-time and in-full delivery performance.
4. Challenging supplier performance and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
