Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Barnham
Pay Rate: £85 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated TA to join a friendly and supportive school in Barnham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference in their educational journey.
As a TA, you will provide one-to-one or small group support, assist with classroom management, and help create a positive learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
* Provide one-to-one or small group assistance to children who may require extra support.
* Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
* Encourage pupils’ participation, confidence, and independence.
* Assist with classroom preparation, resources, and displays.
* Support the emotional and social development of pupils, promoting positive behaviour and respect.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (preferred but not essential).
* A caring, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine interest in helping children achieve their best.
* A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
